There are few people who regret that we apart and few people are happy to get independence I cannot solve this mystery.
I was looking for the English translation of the poem and came across your video. I found one here sadpoetry.org/2013/12/22/the-dawn-of-freedom-subah-e-azadi/ but your translation seems to make more sense. Great work.
There are many people in this world who are sorry that we are separated and there are others who are not happy about freedom. But most prefer freedom.
